The 5-session Personal Financial Literacy series is designed to
familiarize participants with the most fundamental lessons of money
management. The course covers topics like balancing a checkbook and
creating a monthly budget, developing appropriate savings and investment
strategies, building credit, and avoiding debt and bankruptcy.
CWCID now serves over 500 individuals annual via its free, bilingual financial
education programs, offered in our own classroom and in ten partnering
community organizations throughout Upper Manhattan.
