“How Can I Promote Economic Opportunity in New York City?”

Make a Tax-Deductible Donation

Your tax-deductible gift supports CWCID’s financial literacy curriculum, and ensures that low-income families are given concrete opportunities to fully participate in the economic mainstream.  To make a gift, simply send a check payable to Credit Where Credit Is Due, Inc., 4211 Broadway, New York, NY 10033.  If your employer offers a Matching Gifts program, please contact your Human Resources Manager for more information and help maximize the impact of your donation to CWCID.

Join the School Banking Challenge!

Take part in the School Banking Matching Gifts Program! You can help our students build savings by matching the program’s total amount of year-end savings!  When you make a matching gift to School Banking, we will distribute 50% of the donation into the savings accounts of the program's most diligent savers. The remaining 50% is reserved for program administration. For more information, please contact Alex Castro at 212-927-5771 or acastro@cwcid.org.

Open a Deferred-Interest Account

If you live, work or worship in the Washington Heights/Inwood or West Harlem areas, you can open a savings account at NTFCU and defer your interest to CWCID.  By opening a deferred-interest savings account, you help to cover the cost of CWCID's financial education program.  Deferred interest is tax-deductible, and your savings are federally insured up to $100,000. For more information, please contact Justine Zinkin at 212-927-5771 or jzinkin@cwcid.org.
